Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CineClub Cafe (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes
• Download and install any associated mobile applications on devices you own or control

This license does not allow you to use the Service on any device you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make the Service available over a network.

Account Terms

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account
• You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction

User Content

• You retain all rights to the content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service
• By posting content, you grant us a license to use, modify, and display such content within the Service
• You are solely responsible for the content you post and its legality
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate
• Content you create (movie submissions, watchlists, votes) is stored on our servers

Movie Club Features

• Movie submissions are subject to review and approval
• Users must follow submission guidelines and deadlines
• Monthly movie selections are final once posted
• Discussion and review features should be used respectfully and constructively
• Voting results are tallied fairly among all participating members

Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services:

• Firestore database for movie information
• Firebase for authentication and data storage
• Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance monitoring

We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. Movie posters, descriptions, and ratings are stored in our Firestore database.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Transmit spam or unsolicited messages
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Post offensive, threatening, or harmful content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Rent, lease, or lend the Service to third parties

Intellectual Property Rights

• The Service and its original content (excluding user content) are owned by CineClub Cafe
• Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without permission
• Movie data and images are property of their respective copyright holders
• All rights not expressly granted are reserved

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Key points:
• We collect email, user content, and usage analytics
• We do NOT collect location, contacts, or financial data
• We do NOT use your data for tracking or advertising
• You can delete your account and data at any time
• Data deletion is processed within 30 days

Disclaimers

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• We are not responsible for any damages arising from your use of the Service
• Movie information accuracy is dependent on third-party data sources
• We make no warranty regarding the quality, accuracy, or availability of the Service

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CineClub Cafe, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service (if any).

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• You may request deletion of your data
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via the Service or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
